Industrial Silicone Tubing
Extruded silicone tubing and hose for fluid conveyance, cable protection, thermal insulation and general industrial applications. Over 5,000 tooling sets in stock for short lead times. Formulations from general-purpose to high-tear.
An industrial silicone tube is the choice when the operating environment rules out other elastomers: temperatures above +150 °C where EPDM rubber loses its properties, low-temperature flexibility requirements where PVC stiffens, chemical inertness towards process fluids, or simply when service life justifies the cost over lower-performance materials. VMQ silicone retains its mechanical properties across a continuous range of –60 to +200 °C, is inert to most aqueous fluids and does not degrade under UV or ozone exposure.
We manufacture industrial tubing and hose in VMQ silicone with two cure-system families: peroxide (Series 2) as the economical general-purpose formulation with the widest hardness range (10 to 90 Shore A), and platinum (Series 12) when higher purity, absence of cure by-products or food/medical certifications are required — at no additional formulation cost. For applications where the tube is subjected to severe mechanical stress — frequent assembly onto fittings, vibration, pulling during installation — the high-tear formulations (Series 1 peroxide, Series 10 platinum) double or triple the tear strength of standard silicones.
Bore sizes from 0.5 mm to 145 mm, with wall thicknesses from 0.5 mm. Over 5,000 tooling sets in stock cover the most common ID x wall thickness combinations, enabling short delivery lead times. For dimensions outside the catalogue, we manufacture new tooling in 2–4 weeks. Tolerances to ISO 3302-1 E1/E2. Manufactured under ISO 9001 with full traceability.
General-purpose tube or one with specific requirements?
If your application has no regulatory requirements (food-grade, medical, railway) and no extreme conditions (temperature > +200 °C, fuels, cyclic fatigue), a standard industrial tube in Series 2 or Series 12 is the most efficient solution. If you need food-contact certification, see our food-grade tubing. For medical devices, medical tubing. For service above +200 °C, high-temperature tubing. For peristaltic pumps, peristaltic tubing.

Industrial tube types by construction
Plain single-layer tube
Circular cross-section with a homogeneous single-compound wall. This is the most versatile construction: it covers everything from air and water conveyance to cable protection and thermal insulation. Available in all catalogue formulations, translucent or coloured as required.
Mesh-reinforced tube
Silicone tube with polyester, aramid or stainless-steel mesh reinforcement embedded between two silicone layers. The reinforcement allows the tube to operate under internal pressure or vacuum without deformation, collapse or bulging. The inner layer remains smooth to minimise pressure drop.
Cable and sensor protection tube
Silicone tubes designed to sleeve, insulate and protect electrical wiring, fibre optics, thermocouples and probes in environments with elevated temperature, vibration or chemical aggression. Silicone offers excellent dielectric insulation, UV/ozone resistance and permanent flexibility, avoiding the cracking that plastic sleeving develops over time.
Co-extruded bicolour or multi-material tube
Two or more silicone layers extruded simultaneously. This allows an inner layer with specific properties (conductive, food-grade, high-tear) to be combined with an outer layer of a different colour or formulation. This is not a painted tube: both layers are integral silicone with molecular adhesion between them.
Dimensional ranges by application
We hold over 5,000 tooling sets in stock covering the most common bore and wall-thickness combinations used in industry. This means short delivery lead times for the majority of standard dimensions. For specific ID x wall thickness combinations not held in stock, we manufacture new tooling in 2–4 weeks.
Micro-bore and small-diameter tubing
ID 0.5 to 6 mmSmall-bore tubes for precision pneumatic circuits, instrumentation, dosing and fine-cable protection. Wall thicknesses from 0.5 mm. The flexibility of silicone permits very tight bend radii without bore collapse.
