Process Principle

Vulcanized ring gaskets are made by joining the ends of a silicone cord using thermal or chemical vulcanization, creating a continuous, leak-proof ring. They allow for customized gaskets without the need for molds.

Materials and Formulations

Available in solid or sponge VMQ silicone with hardnesses from 10 to 90 Shore A. Certified food-grade, medical-grade, fire-retardant, antistatic, high-temperature, and fluorinated (FVMQ) formulations. Compliant with FDA, EC 1935/2004, UL94, EN 45545-2, USP VI, and ISO 10993.

Dimensions and Finishes

Cord diameters from 1 to 50 mm and perimeters adapted to the technical drawing. Tolerances according to ISO 3302-1 E2/E3. Invisible joints or with internal reinforcement depending on the application. Available in smooth, satin, or colored finishes.

Production Environments

Production in an industrial environment or ISO 8 cleanroom depending on the destination. Processes certified ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 with dimensional control, adhesion testing, and sealing validation.
