Manufacturer of Extruded Silicone Profiles
We specialise in the extrusion of high-precision silicone profiles. Thanks to our continuous curing technology and in-house manufacturing of dies (tooling), we can develop any geometry your project requires, from a simple square section to complex sealing gaskets for automotive or rail applications.
Profile types
Custom Silicone Profiles
VMQ silicone profiles custom-designed according to drawing or sample. Personalized sections, specific formulations, and RAL colors. Compliance with FDA, EC 1935/2004, UL94, EN 45545-2, USP VI, and ISO 10993. Manufacturing under ISO 9001 and ISO 13485.
Sponge Silicone Profiles (Cellular)
Extruded sponge silicone profiles with a closed-cell structure. Low density, high compressibility, and elastic recovery. Compliance with FDA, EC 1935/2004, EN 45545-2, UL94, USP VI, and ISO 10993. Manufacturing under ISO 9001 and ISO 13485.
Square Silicone Profiles
Extruded VMQ silicone square profiles with ISO 3302-1 E1 tolerances. Hardness 10-90 Shore A. Compliance with FDA 21 CFR 177.2600, EC 1935/2004, UL94, EN 45545-2, USP VI, and ISO 10993. Industrial or ISO 8 cleanroom production under ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 control.
Rectangular Silicone Profiles
Extruded VMQ silicone rectangular profiles with ISO 3302-1 E1/F dimensional control. Hardness 10-90 Shore A. Compliance with FDA, EC 1935/2004, UL94, EN 45545-2, USP VI, and ISO 10993. Continuous manufacturing in lengths or rolls under ISO 9001 and ISO 13485.
Standard shapes and special profiles
Beyond basic sections, at ProSilicones64 we hold an extensive catalogue of dies for the most common shapes in the industry. This allows us to offer reduced lead times for: U-Channel: For edge protection, sheet metal edging, and glazing. T-Section: For insertion into aluminium guides and slots. P-Profile (Musical note): The classic combination of a flat base and a hollow bulb for door and oven sealing. e-Profile: Common in sealing gaskets for enclosures. Omega and Bellows: For applications requiring movement or dynamic expansion. If you are looking for a silicone profile with a specific shape, please consult us. It is highly likely we already have the tooling available.
When to choose a Solid Profile vs. a Sponge Profile?
The choice depends on the available clamping force and the irregularity of the surface to be sealed. Solid Profile (Compact): Behaves as an incompressible solid (maintains volume, only deforms). It is ideal when you have a strong housing groove and require resistance to pressure. Available Hardness: 10 to 90 Shore A (Sealing standard: 40-70 Shore A). Sponge Profile (Cellular): Contains air bubbles within, allowing it to reduce its volume upon compression. It is the perfect solution for sealing hinged doors, plastic covers, or irregular surfaces where high mechanical pressure cannot be applied. Typical Densities: 0.5 to 0.8 g/cm³ depending on thickness.
Thermal ranges according to formulation
Standard (VMQ): Works between -60°C and +200°C continuously. Low Temperature (PVMQ): Phenylated formulations for cryogenic applications maintaining flexibility down to -110°C. High Temperature (THT): Stabilised series withstanding up to +300°C continuously and peaks of +315°C. Fluorosilicone (FVMQ): For environments exposed to hydrocarbons, oils, or solvents. Superior chemical resistance in a range of -60°C to +170°C (extendable to +220°C).
High Precision Extrusion ISO 3302-1
Not all profiles are created equal. In critical applications, dimensional tolerances are key. We manufacture according to ISO 3302-1 Class E1 for solid profiles and Class E3 for sponge profiles, with cut lengths according to Class L2 and L3 respectively. Available Materials: Silicone VMQ (General purpose) Silicone PVMQ (Low temperature) Fluorosilicone FVMQ (Chemical resistance) Available Certifications: Food Grade: FDA 21 CFR 177.2600, BfR IX and XV, EC 1935/2004 Medical: USP Class VI, ISO 10993 Railway: EN 45545-2 HL1, HL2, and HL3 (solid profile) / HL1 and HL2 (sponge profile) Flammability: UL94 (Flame retardant) RoHS and REACH compliance in all formulations.
Do you need a specific profile?
We have the capacity to extrude from fine cords to large section profiles. Send us your drawing or describe your application, and we will confirm viability and tolerance.
