Manufacturer of Silicone Sealing Gaskets

Manufacturer of Silicone Sealing Gaskets

We manufacture silicone sealing gaskets using three complementary processes—compression moulding for high-precision O-rings and washers, extrusion for pneumatic seals with complex geometries, and fabrication with vulcanisation for ring or frame gaskets—enabling us to cover everything from standard O-rings to active sealing solutions with controlled air pressure and custom gaskets without mould investment, selecting the optimal process in each case based on geometry, volume and working pressure.

Static Seal (Fixed sealing)

Seals for joints without relative movement

Dynamic Seal (Moving sealing)

Seals for shafts, pistons and rotating elements

01

Selection according to application

O-Ring (Moulding): The universal solution for static and dynamic sealing in grooves. Offers the highest dimensional precision.

Flat Gasket / Washer (Die-cutting): For sealing between parallel flat surfaces (flanges) without a housing groove. Allows for short runs without tooling investment.

Pneumatic Seal (Extrusion): Sealing on demand. The seal inflates (typically 1-6 bar) to seal and deflates to allow the gate to open.

Vulcanised Gasket (Fabrication): The alternative to moulded gaskets when the diameter is very large (>500mm) or non-standard. Avoids tooling costs.

02

Formulations for Pneumatic Seals (High Tear)

Inflatable seals require "High Tear Strength" silicones to withstand cyclic inflation deformation:

Series 1 (Peroxide HD): Standard for inflatable seals. Hardness 40-70 ShA (-60°C to +200°C).

Series 10 (Platinum HD): Platinum cured. Higher purity for pharmaceutical sector.

Series 7 (HD + Abrasion): Higher wear resistance for dynamic applications or sliding doors.

Series 20 (HD + High Temp): For ovens and autoclaves up to +270°C.

03

Formulations for Autoclave and Steam Gaskets

Saturated steam degrades standard silicones (hydrolysis). We use protected formulations:

Series 22 (Steam Resistant): Improved resistance to steam and aromatic oils. Optimised for autoclave gaskets and sterilisation (-60°C to +200°C).

Series 4 (Low Compression Set): Excellent compression set values. The gasket recovers its original shape after prolonged pressure cycles.

04

Tolerances according to process

Moulding (O-Rings/Flat): ISO 3302-1 Class M2 (High precision moulded).
Extrusion (Inflatable): ISO 3302-1 Class E1 (profile) and L2 (length).
Fabrication (Vulcanised): Dimensional control of total perimeter after vulcanisation.

Thermal ranges:
Standard (VMQ): -60°C to +200°C.
High Temperature (THT): Up to +300°C (Peaks +315°C).
Autoclave (Series 22): +200°C with hydrolysis resistance.

Certifications:
Food Grade: FDA 21 CFR 177.2600, BfR XV, EC 1935/2004.
Medical: USP Class VI, ISO 10993.
Railway: EN 45545-2 (HL1/HL2/HL3).
RoHS and REACH compliance.
