System Principle
TIXAN’AIR® silicone inflatable seals operate by pneumatic pressurization, expanding to seal a moving or fixed surface. When deflated, they return to their original shape without permanent deformation.
Materials and Formulations
Made from solid VMQ silicone with hardnesses from 50 to 70 Shore A. Certified food-grade, medical-grade, fire-retardant, and high-temperature formulations. Compliant with FDA, EC 1935/2004, EN 45545-2, UL94, USP VI, and ISO 10993.
Technical Characteristics
Expansion up to 25 mm. Inflation pressure between 0.5 and 4 bar. Working temperature from -60 °C to +200 °C. Integrated metallic or thermoplastic connectors. Available in continuous lengths or closed ring seals.
