Series 13 – Fluorosilicone (FVMQ) with high resistance to oils and solvents
Specific compound for chemically aggressive environments and hydrocarbon contact
Series 13 is a peroxide-cured Fluorosilicone mixture (FVMQ base), specifically designed to offer exceptional resistance to mineral oils, fuels, and organic solvents. It is processable by extrusion and moulding. Its main characteristic is the ability to maintain its properties in environments where standard silicones (VMQ) would degrade or swell, making it ideal for applications in contact with aggressive fluids.
