Series 5 – PVMQ (Phenyl) Silicone for extreme low temperatures (-110°C)
Specific compound for cryogenics and extreme cold applications maintaining mechanical properties
Series 5 is a peroxide-cured phenyl silicone mixture (PVMQ base), specifically designed to offer exceptional cold resistance. It is processable by extrusion and moulding. Its main characteristic is the ability to maintain its elastic and mechanical properties in extremely low-temperature environments (down to -110°C), making it ideal for cryogenic equipment and parts subjected to vibrations in freezing environments.
