Series 14 is a peroxide-cured silicone mixture, specifically formulated to improve its resistance to steam, coolants, and oils. It is processable by extrusion and moulding. It offers good compression set (CS) properties, making it ideal for autoclave gaskets and applications in humid and hot environments where other silicones might degrade more quickly.
