Flat gaskets in solid or cellular VMQ silicone obtained by cutting calendered sheet. CNC oscillating-knife cutting for specific geometries or die-cutting with a dedicated tool for production runs. Formulations compliant with FDA, CE 1935/2004, UL94, EN 45545-2, USP Class VI and ISO 10993.

The product

The flat gasket comes from cut sheet: geometric precision without dedicated tooling costs.

Flat gaskets are made from calendered silicone sheets or boards, cut by CNC oscillating knife for specific geometries or by die-cutting with a dedicated tool for production runs. The process delivers circular, rectangular or irregular geometries from CAD drawings, with no need for a dedicated mould and with short lead times for prototypes and series.

Gaskets with food or medical formulation are processed in a cleanroom

When the flat gasket uses a platinum formulation certified FDA, CE 1935/2004, USP Class VI or ISO 10993, cutting, ultrasonic cleaning and packaging are carried out in the ISO 8 cleanroom at Progress Silicones in France (550 m² validated to ISO 14644-1) to preserve contact purity from the starting sheet right through to delivery.
