The Progress group runs two ISO 8 cleanrooms in Europe. Apt (France) brings together extrusion, HCR and LSR moulding in 550 m² — the only room in the group where extrusion happens in clean zone. Top Tech (Italy) concentrates high-volume LSR moulding and houses the only plastic-silicone two-shot press in the group. The two complement each other.

ISO 8 cleanroom with BMS, certified to ISO 14644-1. Platinum and peroxide cure. 2 extrusion lines, 1 HCR press, 2 LSR presses, screw mixer, 3 post-cure ovens. 12 qualified operators process 35 tonnes of silicone in clean zone each year.




Progress Silicones integrates the design office and mechanical workshop in the same plant. Before a part reaches the cleanroom, it goes through our teams.

Bespoke manufacture of moulds, dies, bonding moulds and cutting tools. Turning, milling, surface finishing — all under the same roof.

ISO 8 cleanroom dedicated to high-volume LSR moulding. 6 Arburg 100 % silicone presses with electric drive, each with its own 6-axis extraction robot. One plastic-silicone two-shot press — the only one in the group.

On the two-shot press, the support plastic is injected first and the silicone right after, with the part never touching the outside between cycles. Typical applications: sensor encapsulation, sealed overmoulded connectors, USP VI medical instruments with ergonomic grip, 2K automotive components.
The 6 Arburg LSR electric presses concentrate the group's high-volume LSR moulding. 6-axis extraction robots. Process FMEA, R&R, DOE and IQ / OQ / PQ. For medium-run LSR we also have capacity in France (2 presses).
The two cleanrooms are complementary: France concentrates extrusion + HCR + LSR moulding; Italy concentrates high-volume LSR moulding and 2K two-shot overmoulding.
