The product

Calendered sheet in continuous roll. Cutting and die-cutting in Spain.

The sheet is produced by calendering: the VMQ compound passes between heated rollers that spread it to a constant thickness and it is cured in a continuous line. The result is a sheet with uniform dimensional tolerance and stable mechanical properties throughout the roll. Thicknesses from 0.3 to 10 mm, widths up to 1,200 mm and roll lengths from 5 to 25 m.

CNC oscillating blade cutting and bespoke sheet die-cutting in Spain

Sheet cutting and die-cutting is carried out in the ProSilicones64 converting workshop (Spain), with two specialised areas: one for manual cutting and another for machine cutting. The CNC with oscillating blade handles specific geometries from a CAD drawing; die-cutting with a dedicated die handles repeat series with controlled tolerance.

Workshop capabilities: longitudinal slitting of the roll, cutting to size into rectangular slabs, die-cutting of gaskets and washers, optional pad-printing marking. The equipment is operated under ISO 9001 with batch-to-product traceability.

Each batch is supplied with certificate of conformity, traceability of the source roll and dimensional specification verified against the drawing. Documentation available for HACCP, IFS, BRC, FDA or EN 45545-2 audits depending on the sheet formulation.
