Silicone profiles

We extrude technical silicone profiles in solid, hollow and cellular geometries, with the compound defined by the application: sealing, leak-tightness, thermal insulation and edge protection. From drawing to series, with batch-to-batch traceability.

None of them fits? Most of our profiles start from a customer drawing: that path is the custom silicone profiles page.

Geometries and cross-sections we extrude

Each geometry solves a different sealing or assembly function. These are the most common section families; any intermediate variant is extruded with our own tooling.

U-profile with side lip extruded in silicone
U-profile with side lip U-channel for edge mounting, with a flexible side lip for protection and sealing.
Interlocking profile with double lip extruded in silicone
Interlocking profile with double lip Retention channel with flexible inner lips and outer ribs for a tighter fit.
Hollow bulb profile with side groove extruded in silicone
Hollow bulb profile with side groove Compressible bulb with a side mounting channel; combines retention and compression sealing.
H-joining profile extruded in silicone
H-joining profile Two opposed channels to hold and join two edges or panels in a single section.
S-profile extruded in silicone
S-profile Double-channel S geometry for joining, guiding or retaining two elements.
Ribbed rectangular tubular profile extruded in silicone
Ribbed rectangular tubular profile Hollow rectangular section with outer ribs, designed to work under compression.
Solid quarter-round profile extruded in silicone
Solid quarter-round profile Solid section with two flat faces at 90° and a curved outer face for support, stop or sealing.

Materials and compounds for every standard

The same profile behaves differently depending on the compound: solid silicone from 30 to 80 Shore A for structural sealing, or cellular silicone when closing force is low and clearance must be absorbed. Service range from −60 °C to +230 °C continuous.

We compound to requirement, not from a catalogue: FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 and EC 1935/2004 food grades, ISO 10993 and USP Class VI medical grades extruded in an ISO 8 cleanroom, and EN 45545-2 railway grades up to HL3. Every batch ships with its certificate.

Round cross-section

Profile or silicone cord?

When the section you need is round, the product is the cord: the same extrusion and the same compounds, in diameters from 1 to 50 mm.

Other elastomers

Silicone or EPDM rubber?

Silicone wins on temperature range (−60 °C to +230 °C), weathering stability and certified food and medical grades. EPDM and the other industrial rubbers win on abrasion and tear resistance, and on cost where there is no thermal or sanitary requirement.

If your application points to the second group, we also manufacture custom extruded EPDM rubber profiles, alongside neoprene, NBR and Viton™ depending on the contact medium.
